It's traditional for everyone to dress up for the celebrations. In addition to pretty princesses there are lots of little forest animals.
We don't always get to interact closely with the kids during the parties but here, the teachers encouraged the kids to come sit on our laps.

these pictures are SO amazing! i am from Tomsk and this was my orphanage. i was adopted 9 years ago and these pictures just make my heart beat faster then ever. i remember the room where all the art work is hung in the back round in one of the pictures, and just remembering that my picture once hung there, brings back the memories. thank you
